Google started showing subpages of major web sites on Search results when someone comes for a direct search. Before it was showing only main pages of web sites with the expanded results but now Google has expanded this facility some more, it started showing both the title and a snippet of the meta description for sub-pages. Google is also experimentally helping users find on-site pages that aren’t included in the sitelinks.
For Example Go for a search of ‘search engine watch’ it will give a fantastic results of nearly 12 links including title tags and descriptions. This provides proper result to searcher for his search.
The major thing to remember here is that meta-descriptions and titles are now even more important, and should be optimized for the small amount of space provided in the new version of sitelinks.
